The classification working group met in Ottawa the week of November 2, 2015. After a thorough week’s work, the committee has reported they have a workable solution to replace some of the current elements of the Deloitte system.
This working group was tasked with removing counting from Classification as it related to Tower ATC grading. The group has reported they have successfully completed that task. The work completed by the group will not affect ACC’s or unit premiums.
The next steps are to test the new system and ensure the results make sense. That will take place over the next month and the group is scheduled to meet again in January 2016 to do a final review of its work. At that time, we are expecting the group will make a formal recommendation to accept the new elements of the system to CATCA and NAV Canada.
