Special General Meeting
The following resolution was passed today by the Board of Directors:
Resolution #1
Be it resolved that CATCA CAW Local 5454 hold a special general meeting (SGM) on Oct 16th, 2012 at the Sheraton Gateway Hotel, Mississauga, ON beginning at 9:00 am local time in accordance with Bylaw 2 section 15.
The purpose of the SGM is to discuss and determine the dispute resolution process to be utilized in future rounds of collective bargaining.

Carried Unanimously.
As per the policy manual each branch and facility will be entitled to send 1 delegate to the SGM. Each delegate will cast all votes assigned to that branch.
More details as to logistics will be distributed as they become available over the next few days.
