At the end of November your Executive Board communicated that there would be an SGM convened in conjunction with the CATCA Council meetings in January. It has now been determined that no SGM will be required at that time. This should not be interpreted as a negative development. The current focus on staffing levels and service delivery has meant that CATCA and NAV Canada have been exploring ideas that would help alleviate those issues. These discussions are ongoing and will continue, however, they are not at a stage where anything concrete has been determined. If required, an SGM may still be scheduled at a later date.
Nav Canada Board of Directors meetings are scheduled for the first week of January, after which the outlook for progress should become more evident.
