Convention 2025 – Important Updates

The National Office staff is in the process of finalizing all the details for convention 2025. Below are a few last-minute reminders.

Convention Documentation

• A PDF of the complete convention documents is available HERE.
  • Printed versions will not be available at convention
  • Please print your own, or put the PDF on your electronic device

Convention website and App

• Website: Convention 2025
• CATCA will be using the Whova App to provide the most current and updated information for Convention
• Convention updates will continue to be available online, and on the Whova App.
• The Whova app is available in the Apple Store and Google Play.
• You can log into the app and access convention information by setting up an account with the email you used to register for convention with.

Hotel and Registration Desk

• The Convention will be held at the Delta Hotel in St. John’s, Newfoundland.
  • To check in, you will only need to provide your First and Last name, or your confirmation number.
• The CATCA convention registration desk will be located on the main level of the hotel in the Crush lobby (outside Salon A).

Airport/Hotel Transportation

• Sunday, June 1: complimentary CATCA shuttle buses will run from the St. John’s airport to the hotel.  When exiting the baggage claim area, there will be a table set up with volunteers that will direct you to the appropriate area to get your shuttle.  Transportation will be available from 7am June 1, 2025, until 1am June 2, 2025.  If you arrive after 1am on June 2^nd, you can get a taxi ($35 flat rate) to the hotel.  Keep your receipt and you will be reimbursed by CATCA.
• Thursday, June 5: The CATCA shuttle bus will run from the hotel to YYT
  • Schedule TBD by the OC
• If you are arriving/departing on other dates than above, local taxis are available.

Checked Baggage

• Purchased flight fares included one checked bag.  No further reimbursement will be given for extra checked bags.

Driving to Convention?

• If you registered as driving to Convention, your name has been provided to the Delta hotel and a parking pass will be made available for check in dates of June 1, 2025, to check out on June 5, 2025.  Mention that you are with the CATCA Convention.

• National Office will be closed from May 31^st to June 5^th, 2025
