CATCA Financial Update – Dues Holiday

In the fall of 2021, the Board of Trustees (BoT) met with the auditor from Parker Prince Lebano (PPL) to review the annual audited statements for Fiscal Year-End 2021.

After examining the statements and in following with past practice, the BoT made a recommendation to the Executive Board (EB) that a dues holiday may be in order. It has been EB policy that if income is one twelfth greater than expenses and reserve allocations in total, that a dues holiday would be considered. The EB met on Monday, during which a financial discussion took place. After debate the EB passed a resolution to grant a dues holiday for the month of December.

Therefore, there will be no deduction of Union dues from members’ pay-cheques for the month of December 2021.
