Call for Nominations: President, Executive Vice President and all RVPs

Please be advised that the nomination period for the President and Executive Vice President and all five (5) Regional Vice President positions opens today, Monday, April 8, 2019 at 12:00 EDT and will close on Monday, April 15, 2019 at 12:00 EDT.

National Executive

Nominations must be in the form of a Branch resolution and, in addition, must be accompanied by signatures from 50 active members of the Association, at least five (5) of which must be from a Branch other than the nominating Branch. Nomination forms:

• President
• Executive Vice-President

RVPs

Nominations must be accompanied by the signatures of 20 active members of the Association in the region where the election is to be held. Nomination forms:

• Atlantic RVP
• St-Laurent RVP
• Central RVP
• Prairie RVP
• Pacific RVP

Electronic voting for the positions will commence on June 2, 2019 at 12:00 ET and will close at 12:00 EDT on June 7, 2019.

NOTES:

• As passed by the membership at Convention 2016 in Halifax, incumbents will be required to sign the Non-Compete/Non-Disclosure Agreement as part of the nomination process. A copy of the Agreement is linked here.
• Executive Vice President, Doug Best shall be the Returning Officer for the election for the office of President and RVPs. Pacific RVP, Scott Shields, shall be the Returning Officer for the election for the office of Executive Vice President.
