Following the changes approved by the membership at Convention 2025 – By-Laws SECTION II: UNION BY-LAWS; Subsection 8 (specifically 8.1 & 8.2.d. and e.), the Prairie Region has been restructured through a resolution passed by the Executive Board at the October 2025 Board meetings. The former Prairie Region has been divided into two regions: Prairie and Rockies. The new Prairie Region will consist of Winnipeg ACC and the St. Andrews, Thunder Bay, Winnipeg, Saskatoon, and Regina Towers. The Rockies Region will consist of Edmonton ACC, and the Edmonton, Villeneuve, Yellowknife, Red Deer, Calgary, Fort McMurray and Springbank Towers.
As part of this restructuring, a new election is required for the Prairie Regional Vice-President to fill the 6th RVP Executive Board position. The term for the newly elected Prairie RVP will run from January 1, 2026, to June 30, 2028.
The nomination period for the Prairie Regional Vice-President will open on:
Wednesday November 26, 2025, at 12:00 pm EST
and close on:
Wednesday December 3, 2025, at 12:00 pm EST
The campaigning period for candidates will begin from the time candidates are announced by the returning officer on Wednesday December 3, 2025, and end on Tuesday December 16, 2025, at 11:59pm EST (Policy Book SECTION I: ADMINISTRATION; Subsection 6.3.h.)

- Prairie RVP Nomination Form (Updated for 2025 Region Changes) Nominations must be accompanied by the signatures of 20 active members of the Association from within the Prairie Region.
- Non-Compete/Non-Disclosure Agreement – As approved at Convention 2016, incumbents must sign the Non-Compete/Non-Disclosure Agreement (By-Laws SECTION II: UNION BY-LAWS; Subsection 7.7 – 7.8) as part of the nomination package.
