Bargaining Bulletin #2

The CATCA Contract Committee met this week in Ottawa to continue reviewing Branch proposals and preparing topics to be discussed when bargaining commences.

The review of the proposals was an in-depth process and subject to debate from all members of the committee. Decisions about which proposals will be tabled to NAV Canada is not decided by votes but rather through full discussion and debate until a consensus can be reached.

The Contract Committee is now putting the final touches on the themes and overall package in preparation to open negotiations with the Company, scheduled for the week of November 28th in Ottawa.

Members are reminded confidentiality is essential at all stages of bargaining so the status of individual proposals and progress on issues cannot be shared. Until a tentative agreement is reached, all process updates will be communicated via these bargaining summaries.

As always, if you have questions or concerns about the process, please contact your Regional Vice President or your Contract Committee representative.

On behalf of the Contract Committee,

Nick von Schoenberg                                                                               Scott Loder

President                                                                                                   Executive Vice President
