During the October 2025 Executive Board (EB) meetings, the Policy and By-Law resolutions from Convention 2025 were reviewed for final implementation into the updated Policy Book and By-Laws (updated November 19, 2025). Following this review, to address the splitting of the Prairie Region into two Regions, as per By-Laws SECTION II: UNION BY-LAWS; Subsection 8 (specifically 8.1 & 8.2.d. and e.), the EB resolved to proceed with the split of the Prairie Region into the following:
- Prairie Region:
- Winnipeg ACC, Winnipeg Tower, Regina Tower, Saskatoon Tower, Thunder Bay Tower, St. Andrews Tower.
- Rockies Region:
- Edmonton ACC, Edmonton Tower, Villeneuve Tower, Springbank Tower, Calgary Tower, Fort McMurray Tower, Yellowknife Tower, Red Deer Tower.
Having completed this step, it is now time to set the call for nominations (to be sent out on Tuesday November 25, 2025) for the Prairie Region RVP. In accordance with the Policy Book (SECTION I: ADMINISTRATION; Sub-section 6.3.d.), the total compensation for the RVP position must be communicated prior to the call for nominations.
Total compensation for all Executive positions can be found in the Policy Book, SECTION II: FINANCES; Sub-section 7 (7.3 specifically for the RVP positions). It must be noted that the pensionable portion of the top-up indicated in each level of compensation is not guaranteed for any newly elected Board Member.
