As required by Section II, article 20.4 of the Union By-laws, attached is a list of amendments to the By-laws of the Association, which will be voted on at the upcoming Triennial Convention in St. John’s. As outlined in Section I, article 10.8 of the Policy Book, a list of proposed resolutions is also included.
Each amendment and proposal (located in the Convention Binder) is shown in its original wording as submitted to the National Office, however all have been presented in the “Be it resolved that…” format to conform to Robert’s Rules.
Please ensure that all your members have the opportunity to study these amendments and proposals, and to discuss them at a Branch Meeting prior to Convention.
The members should be reminded that, in accordance with the By-laws, the attached amendments are the only ones that may be voted on at the 2025 Convention, in accordance with Section II, article 20.6.
